HI, I'M MATTI
A regular chap who has probably worn more hats than you.
I've been an artist, a designer, an interior designer, an architect, an urban designer, and a business owner. Which, is kind of a lot of hats if you think about it. I find great value in my diverse and versatile approach to life and to design.
Getting to this point has been a fantastic journey and test of character. I can unequivocally say I have been put through my paces, many times, in every new project I have embarked on.
One of my biggest strengths is that I have always backed myself when expanding and growing into "deep waters". I have never turned away from a challenge. Being highly resourceful and competent has meant that I have always produced high-quality level design work.
I built this webpage not just to show what I'm capable of, but rather, in hopes that I can connect, collaborate and grow with like-minded people in the design ecosphere.
I am very passionate about change and community and I'd be more than welcoming to anyone approaching me with any design-related questions or quires.

Connecting with people and clients is important to me as it helps me understand how that person interprets, thinks, and explains things.
This is vital to the design process as it helps me extract and bring to life the design inside a persons mind. Design is as much of a journey as it is an ability and walking with a client from begining till the end is the only real way of solidify design intentions.

DESIGN
The design will never "just" be in the details.
My design is very concept-driven.
The ability to work up a concept and pull that concept through into design distinguishes great design from good design. Great design requires substance and meaning.
Great design is quantitative to how well you can execute a concept through a project.

To push the boundaries of design in conjunction with developing technologies, in order to design to create good and meaningful change in the world.
Whether that change is abrasive or easy, I have lived long enough as a trendsetter to know that the space that breeds this kind of change is never going to be the easiest space to create in, but rather the most impactful and rewarding.
